Junior Winter Carnival

On Saturday January 5th, my Royal Sisters and I went to the Junior Winter Carnival Coronation. We had a fun time at the event and got meet people from other cities. While there, we also talked to a few of the candidates for the Queen of Snows. Throughout the evening we met up with a few of our previous girls from the program. It was nice to see them all again. Congratulations to Sylvia, Caitlyn, and Maddie, the new Junior Winter Carnival Family. We wish you a fantastic year and hope to get to know the three of you better.

Jr Winter Carnival Chili Cook Off

Chili cook-off

On Sunday December 9th, your royal court of Inver Grove Heights, minus the littles, attended the Kettles of Fire Junior Winter Carnival chili cook-off! My absolute favorite chili was curated by the Klondike Kate’s, and I loved it because of its sweetness. It really added some love to the chili! It was so amazing to meet the candidates for Junior Winter Carnival, and it was so awesome to see two of our past princesses using the wonderful public speaking abilities they gained throughout their reign as Inver Grove Heights ambassadors, to answer some tough fishbowl questions. Good luck Katie and Grace! And good luck to the rest of the candidates as well. We can’t wait to see everyone again at the coronation!

Cub Foods Bagging

← Back

Thank you for your response. ✨

On 12-22-18 we bagged groceries at cub foods as a fundraiser for our  program. We bagged from 10-4 at the Cub Foods on Cahill Ave.  Some of the past royalty helped too. It was a fun way to bond with my royal sisters and get to know some of the other girls that had been crowned while socializing with the customers.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing

My royalty sisters and I had the honor of helping others by bell ringing for the Salvation Army over the weekend. We had a lot of fun! We got to ring the bells and sing Christmas songs together. It was fun getting to see how happy everyone was that we were spreading the Christmas cheer!

Clouds Choir

On Friday December 14, 2018 my royal sisters and I went to the Clouds Choir.  It was a very emotional time but we had so much fun singing, giggling and talking to the community. I’m so glad that me and my royal sisters had that privilege to go to the Clouds Choir for Zach Sobiech. It was fun visiting with other royal courts.

There was a fabulous turn out and a lot of little kids got to see Santa and even skate with him. The excitement on all the kids faces can’t even be described. There was so much laughter and joy. What a fun way to combine ice skating and seeing Santa.

2018 Candy Cane Hunt

On Saturday December 8th 2018, my royal sisters and I were fortunate enough to serve the community. The candy cane hunt brought smiles to the parents and kids in our community. So glad that we could also get to know more people in our community.

2018 Cambridge Snowflake parade

On November 17th, my royal sisters and I had the privilege to be a part of the Cambridge Snowflake Parade. As well as being in the parade, we went to a nursing home to sing Christmas carols. We had a lot of fun singing to everyone there. The parade was cold, but we didn’t let it dampen our smiles. After the parade we got to visit with the other royalty and eat chili. Not long into the visiting Santa showed up.

On November 3, we were so honored to be able to attend Crowning Achievements. Crowning Achievements is a great program that gets to crown those with disabilities. We had so much fun getting to know the candidates and meeting other visiting royalty.

First Service Project Jr Miss 2019

For my first service project, I collected items for Cory’s Closet at Simley High School. During the month of October, I gathered clothes and hygiene products. Cory’s Closet is a set up in the nurse’s office that helps provide products to students who need help at the moment. In total I collected over 700 items. Thank you to Cub Foods for donating 137 grocery bags. A special thank you to Dr. Tandon at Southridge Dental for donating 24 bags full of toothpaste, toothbrushes, and flosses. I had fun collecting everything and it was a wonderful feeling when I brought everything in.
