Service Project: Neighbors Inc.

For my third and final service project I hosted a food and toiletries drive for Neighbors Inc. I left a donation bin at the Moose Lodge 1088 and the drive ran for two weeks. Thanks to everyone’s support, we collected 153 pounds of food and toiletries. Thank you so much to the Moose and to everyone who donated!

Leprechaun Days Parade

We participated in the Leprechaun Days Parade in Rosemount on July 25. It was fun seeing lots of friends in the crowd and visiting with other royalty. We also were able to enjoy root beer floats and get a free book at the library!

Music in the Park – July 14

On July 14th the Music in the Park event was held indoors on the turf at the VMCC due to a heat wave. Many families still participated in the event and everyone was happy to have a freezie after the performance to help cool down.

2026 Candidate Sign Making

My royal sisters and I attended the candidates’ sign making event recently. We got to talk with all the candidates and learn more about them and who their sponsors are. All of the candidates are very creative and were working hard on their signs. It was so fun seeing what they came up with!

Music in the Park

We had our last Music in the Park event for the season. The band was rockin and the kids really seemed to have fun dancing to the music. We gave them freezies to help cool them down.  Music in the Park is a fun,  free event so make sure to check it out next summer!

Sponsor Visit: Moose Lodge 1088

I had the chance to visit my sponsor over the weekend. I met Tammy and Lu, who are both members of the board at the Moose Lodge 1088. I’m so thankful for the Moose’s sponsorship throughout this past year and their continued support as my year as Miss IGH is coming to a close.

2026 Aquatennial Parade

My royal sisters and I had the opportunity to take part in the Aquatennial Parade. The parade route through Minneapolis was fun and different from our usual parade routes. We got to meet so many new royal families from all over Minnesota. We’re so thankful we got this opportunity!

2026 Raspberry Fest Coronation

Today before the coronation, I, Halley, and Ava did a goose chase. Take pictures around Hopkins based on clues.  We only got to do half of it because there was a lot of things to do but it was fun! A couple hours later, was the coronation and the rest of the girls joined us. This was probably my favorite coronation so far because everyone was interacting in the crowd a lot. And to wrap the night, there was a royal ball that our group went to and it was really fun!

Music in the Park

Because of the heat, music in the park was moved inside. I stayed at the table and ran the game called Plinko.  There was not as many people there since it got moved inside, but it still was a success. At the end we handed out freezies , it was a fun event!
