On Sunday February 18 the Inver Grove Heights Scholarship Program hosted a Mardi Gras Party. There were games and food and lots of dancing, with visiting royalty. My favorite part was playing Jenga with other visiting royalty.

On Saturday February 3rd, my royal sisters and I had the pleasure of attending the Vulcan Torchlight Parade. We got the chance to mingle around with other royalties and we also were able to take a picture with the newly crowned St. Paul Winter Carnival Royalty. We had so much fun singing and dancing while we waved to everyone watching the parade.
Sincerely,
Your 2024 Junior Miss Princess,

On Friday February 2nd my royal family and I got to go to the Princess Dance at the Veterans Memorial Center. We helped out with cool crafts and had a delicious pasta dinner. All of us danced with so many princesses and took fun pictures. They were all wearing such pretty dresses and crowns.

Over the holiday break, I visited my sponsor Captive Images Hair Salon in South Saint Paul. I got a tour from Rochelle and gave her a present. I learned that they have been in business since 1999 and moved to their current location in 2004. I am grateful to have Captive Images as my sponsor!

This weekend, the Inver Grove Heights princesses had a float in the King Boreas Grande Day Parade. We mingled with visiting royalty, met the K9 Queen, and waved to parade watchers all through downtown St. Paul. The weather was very nice for a parade in the middle of winter and we had a great time!

On Friday, January 26th, my royal sisters and I attended the St. Paul Winter Carnival Coronation. We had a lot of fun mingling with other royals from many different communities across the state, even some from other states and countries. There were many different performances during the presentation. My favorite was the Clementine Hmong Dance Team. It was fun to see the Princesses of the Four Winds and the Queen of the Snows crowned! We are all looking forward to getting to know the new Winter Carnival court in 2024.

On January 6th we went to the Junior Winter Carnival Coronation. One thing that I thought was fun was that we got to greet the new Junior Winter Carnival. While we were at the Masonic Heritage Center, we saw so many different royalties. We got to see all of the candidates dresses and suits and they looked gorgeous. We took a lot of photos with the new royalty and our friends from other communities. Congratulations to the new 2024 Junior Winter Carnival royalty.

For my first service project, I signed a two-year commitment to adopt Vista Pines park in Inver Grove. I will visit the park every month from spring to fall to clean up trash and report any issues to the IGH Parks and Recreation Department. I love this park (especially the zip line!) and am happy to keep it clean and in good shape for my local community.

On Sunday, December 17th my royal sisters and I went to the Moose Lodge 1088 for breakfast with Santa. We got to hand out stockings and build your own cookie kits to the kids. I had lots of fun with my royal girls and enjoyed spending time with them!
Sincerely yours,

Our Miss Inver Grove Heights program went to our local Cub Foods and participated in the Salvation Army Bell Ringing. We all got a bell and it was really fun to sing and dance with the royal sisters to get donations for people in need. The season of giving is so important for many people at this time of year.
