2017 West St. Paul Parade

We attended the pre parade breakfast on a rainy day. We were hoping the rain would clear up but it didn’t. They people in charge decided to cancel the parade and the carnival but we could still attend the pre parade. There I got to meet the candidates running for west St. Paul and after socializing a lot we had a walking parade in the gym for the parents and volunteers helping out.

2017 Good Samaritan Brunch

Before brunch started I walked around with the other royal girls and we mingled with people.Once the food was ready we sat down and ate, it was really good. As we were eating there was a live band, they were really talented. Once we were done eating we helped pass out the prizes and baskets of the winners and highest bidders. Overall this brunch was really fun and delicious.

2017 Rotary Dinner

I attended the Inver Grove Heights and South St. Paul Rotary dinner. Kat Perkins, a finalist on The Voice, was the emcee for the night! She blessed us with inspiring songs and her beautiful voice. The South St. Paul royalty girls and I had the honor of announcing the raffle winners. The program continued with an exchange student who spoke about her experience in America. There was also an award given to Virginia, an inspiring woman. The night was an absolute blast! Wonderful program!

2017 Inver Grove Heights Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday April 8th my royal family and I were able to attend the Inver Grove Heights Easter Egg Hunt. The event was held at the Rich Valley Park soccer fields. We were expecting it to be a warm April day but it ended up being cold, windy and overcast. But that didn’t stop all the kids from coming out and having fun! There were three fields filled with eggs for different age groups. My royal sisters and I were able to sound that starting horn for each field. It was so much fun watching all of the kids rush out after the eggs. Each field ended up having a golden egg. The lucky hunter who found the golden egg was given an extra prize. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect it was still a really fun day!

2017 Daddy Daughter Date Night

On Friday February 10th my royal sisters and I were able to attend the Daddy Daughter Date Night with our dads! The event was held at the Inver Grove Heights Veterans Memorial Community Center.

The evening started out with a yummy spaghetti dinner. Afterwards, we were all able to have pictures taken with our dads in a professional photo booth. There was also a scavenger hunt bingo game that we were able to play. The funnest part of the evening was dancing with our dads! There were so many younger girls there with their dads. They all looked like they were having so much fun dancing and they were all so cute!

The evening ended with all of us girls getting a single red rose. It was a pretty awesome night!

2017 Winter Carnival Grand Day Parade

On Saturday January 28th,my royal family and I had the opportunity to support the St. Paul Winter Carnival at the Grand Day Parade.  It was wonderful to see the surrounding communities from all over Minnesota and Wisconsin come together on this chilly winter day.  I loved seeing the newly crowned Winter Carnival family attend their first parade, as well as how happy they were to be selected as royalty.  I can’t wait to get to know the 2017 Winter Carnival Royal family throughout our upcoming year together!

2017 Winter Carnival Coronation

On January 27th my sisters and I attended the Winter carnival Royalty Coronation at the River Centre. We got to meet up with many different groups, there were even a few from out of state. The show was amazing we did a lot of dancing and singing. There was a funny skit teaching us about the winter carnival. Lots of air horns, guns, and whistles went off all night. Then it came to crowning the wonderful new court, so nervous for all of them. Gave me a knot in my stomach. I am so proud of the new Court, it will be great to see them throughout the year.
